You're not just building your website for your prospects and clients, but also for search engines. If you want to rank high, you're homepage needs to be very specific on the products and service you provide. Say you are a high net worth personal lines agency in New York City. You may have some commercial business standard personal lines, but your homepage should be geared to your main focus. Google is looking to point their users to websites that best fit the user's search. Way too many sites babble on about the hundreds of products and carriers they work with. STOP IT.
